Honda Elevate: A New Midsize SUV Makes Grand Global Debut in India
Honda has unveiled its new midsize SUV, the Elevate, in India. The SUV will be available for booking in India starting in August 2023, and will also be exported to other markets. The Elevate is powered by a Honda City's four-cylinder 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces the same 121 hp of power and 145 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission and will be offered as a front-wheel drive. That's right. Honda has confirmed that the Elevate will get an electric powertrain in the next three years. The company has not released any specific details about the electric powertrain.
